Zoom Clowns

Last night I attended another Zoom gathering of Clown College graduates, most of whom were from my Class of '75 and one from the Class of '74. We spent an hour and a half yakking about our lives and telling big lies and cracking bad jokes.

It was so fun!

The first few times we got together we mostly exchanged stories of Clown College and circus life. All of the guys spent at least a season on the Big Show, whereas I clowned on smaller circuses, so the stories were many and varied. This time I don't think spent any time on life in the past; instead, we talked about what we're doing now and what our plans are for the future.

I blathered on and on about Ireland, of course. (Which I really should do more of here, so that's next.) (Maybe.)

It's amazing how shared experiences can bring a group together, but Clown College does it, even after almost 50 years.

Fifty years. Jaysus, Mary, and Joseph!
