Randomness

Well, I just went to google something that I thought might be fun to write about, but then Google asked me if I wanted to set up a passkey using Touch ID, and I thought that might be a pretty good idea, so I did that and it only took a minute, and now I can't remember what I wanted to search for.

So it goes.

In reading over the previous run-on sentence, I wondered whether to capitalize "google" when it's a verb. I think it's probably proper to capitalize it when it's a noun, and it seems correct to not capitalize it when it's a verb. I supposed it shouldn't be a verb at all, but by now that usage is ubiquitous, so fuck it.

The is kind of thing I think about these days.

Anyway, today I tackled a task that I've been putting off all week. It turned out to be easier than I thought it would be, but it's not quite done. It involves a piece of software that I'm only minimally skilled with, which makes me a little skittish.

Eh. It'll be okay. Even if I screw it up, I can probably unscrew it.

I just spent the last ten minutes scrolling YouTube on my phone and watching a couple videos, so I think it's time to wrap this up and finish the Times daily crossword puzzle.
