Day 5: Funfetti

This marshmallow was both tasty and colorful, with its wee pieces of candy confetti goodness. So far, I've liked all of the treats that I've tried.

A guy just knocked on our door and tried to sell Joe on Hello Fresh. I've never heard of door-to-door salesfolk pushing meal kits, especially in apartment buildings! I think he must live here or he would not have been able to get into the building. Maybe he has permission to solicit business from the management? I have a hard time believing that.

At any rate, Joe was nice and polite in turning the Hello Fresh Guy down. Joe told the guy that we get Blue Apron (which we do) and that we very satisfied with them (which we are) (mostly). Them HFG asked how much we pay for Blue Apron! Joe declined to tell him, thus avoiding a discussion around that. Besides, it varies depending on what we choose. Then Joe asked if he had any brochures or other information, and HFG did not, which seems odd for a door-to-door salesperson. I'm a little suspicious - how was he going to sign us up? Would he have asked for a credit card number? Or to be paid with gift cards? Hmm. I could be overreacting. Then again...

Anyway, Joe was able to turn HFG away with minimal hassle, so I'm glad of that. I'm also glad that I didn't answer the door, because reasons. We'll be visiting the property manager tomorrow.
