And so we've made it to Christmas Eve. We're getting ready for a trip to Maryland, first to pick up SonnyeBoy and then to my sister's house (over the river and through the woods) for the annual Christmas Eve celebration. I'm so happy to be able to make this trip. All of us are vaxxed to the max, so I am not worried.
It has been such a year, such a year. Sorrow and stress filled our hearts, but there was also joy and laughter to lessen the blows. May the next year tilt the scales toward joy, toward love, toward health, for all of us, always.
