Trimmed

Our tree has been up for over a week now. It has built-in lights, which makes things easier, but it had only two ornaments: Ovi and a cute wooden one with Joe's name on it. We kept meaning to decorate it properly, but every night the recliner and chair captured us and the tree went untrimmed. Twinkly, but untrimmed. I got to thinking that it wouldn't be so bad to just have lights and Ovi and Joe. Kind of minimalist, if you will.

Today we decided that we would definitely trim the tree after lunch. When we got home from said lunch, we almost got captured again. But I unstuck myself, got the ornaments, and off we went.

And now we have the most beautiful tree ever.
