No, not that kind of sticky joint!
I woke up in the middle of the night last week and realized that my finger was stuck in a curled-up position. Luckily, I just had to push a little against the stickiness and it uncurled. Since then, it still gets stuck once in awhile. Sometimes I can make it happen.
It looks of like an inverted version of flipping the bird.
Anyway, thanks to the wonders of Google, I found out that this condition is called trigger finger. It's a common affliction for diabetics and it's more common in women. I'm both! Whoopee!
One more thing to talk to my doctor about when I see him in a couple of weeks.
