Older and Older

Well, I continue to get older - how about that! I am now 67 years old, hurtling toward old(er) age. Given the alternative, I'm fine with it!

I had a lovely day. Joe surprised me, as he always does, with a card and gifts. I got this top, a Stephen King book that I haven't read yet, a book about the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, a nice thick pair of wool socks. Then, after we finished our first cups of coffee, he pulled this lovely triskelion necklace out of his pocket. What a guy, eh?

SonnyeBoy surprised me too, with a delicious Edible Arrangement of strawberries (some dipped in chocolate), melon, grapes, and pineapple covered in white chocolate masquerading as thick cookies. I've been nibbling on it all day!

And, through the mysteries of Facebook and LinkedIn, friends and family from near and far wished me a happy birthday! Friends from grade school, high school, and college. Friends from Clown College and my circus days. Friends from my technical communication cohorts. Friends from my internet tribe. And more! Thank you, all of you - it's a good thing love is infinite!

Numerologically speaking, 67 reduces to 4 (6+7=13; 1+3=4). The fourth prayer in the The Pattern on the Trestleboard says:

From the exhaustless riches of its Limitless Substance, I draw all things needful, both spiritual and material.

This belief gives me strength and peace, so onward I go, surrounded by love, with everything I need.
