The Year in Pictures: January to June
December 29, 2018
Rather than spew lots of words about 2018, I've decided to let pictures give the highlights of my year.
In January, I started chemotherapy for Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma.
In February, I bought my inspirational bracelet. I wore it until I found out that I was in complete remission.
In March, we had four nor'easters! We lost power when this tree fell on the power lines.
But the storms did not keep us from attending Weetacon and dancing at the prom! (Photo credit to the lovely and talented Dale Rennie.)
In April, I tried my hand at Camp Nanowrimo and participated in a postcard exchange. Alas, I was too fatigued to finish.
In May, my great good friend Judy came to visit and we went into Center City to see the Lovett or Leave It podcast live at the Kimmel Center.
In June, my Washington Capitals finally won the Stanley Cup!
And even better, I finished chemotherapy and rang the bell!
And to top off the first half of 2018, Joe and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary at the fabulous Bedford Springs Hotel.
Stay tuned for the highlights from July through December!
