The year 2018 comes to an end in about two and a half hours, at least it does here in the Eastern time zone. It's pouring rain outside and the temperature is rising - I guess it's opposite day for New Year's Eve. Shouldn't it be cold and snowy?
Anyway, I'm glad to be looking ahead to 2019. I wonder what the year will bring? I guess I'll find out - time, as they say, will tell.
I'm very tired, but I'm going to have a dish of peppermint ice cream with some whipped cream on top. A wee split of Moet and Chandon is chilling in the fridge. Joe is taking a nap, as are the cats.
And, for my final accomplishment of 2018, I finished the New York Times Super Mega crossword puzzle - and I only looked up one - okay, maybe two - answers!
Of course, the puzzle has more to it than correct answers in the grid, but I'll tackle that tomorrow.
In any case, That's Entertainment is on TV, so I will close by wishing all of you a wonderful new year. May you be happy and healthy, may you laugh often and cry seldom, and may you feel the warmth of the sun and still of the night as we travel around the sun once more.
