Here We Go Again

The year 2018 comes to an end in about two and a half hours, at least it does here in the Eastern time zone. It's pouring rain outside and the temperature is rising - I guess it's opposite day for New Year's Eve. Shouldn't it be cold and snowy?

Anyway, I'm glad to be looking ahead to 2019. I wonder what the year will bring? I guess I'll find out - time, as they say, will tell.

I'm very tired, but I'm going to have a dish of peppermint ice cream with some whipped cream on top. A wee split of Moet and Chandon is chilling in the fridge. Joe is taking a nap, as are the cats.

And, for my final accomplishment of 2018, I finished the New York Times Super Mega crossword puzzle - and I only looked up one - okay, maybe two - answers!

Of course, the puzzle has more to it than correct answers in the grid, but I'll tackle that tomorrow.
