Irish Urban Art
December 15, 2016
Before we moved up to the Philly area, I rode the DC Metro Red Line to work every day. For quite awhile, I took pictures of the urban art that appeared along the way. I really haven't done that since we moved. There are some impressive pieces along I-95 and I-76, but we're usually traveling way too fast for me to capture a decent image.
When we were in Dublin, though, I was able to snap a picture of a really neat piece. We were in a cab on the north side of the River Liffey, heading for Connolly station and our trip to Avoca.
I wish I could have gotten it more head on rather than at an angle, but I was constrained by circumstance.
Anyone want to take a guess as to what the text next to the dog-person (cat-person? lion-person?) says? I can't decipher it, but I love the colors!
