Will You Still Need Me, Will You Still Feed Me?

Yes, today I am 64!

One year from Medicare! Two years from full retirement (like that'll happen)!

Thank you, Dr. Martin Luther King, for having your holiday on my birthday so I didn't have to take a vacation day. It was just a lovely day, even though the Arctic Blast came through yesterday. Joe surprised me with a nice gift (two lovely tops) and spoiled me all day. I had Cap'n Crunch for breakfast! I did not walk!

We went to lunch at the Grand Lux Cafe in the mall. It was delicious! After that we (finally) saw Star Wars, The Force Awakens. We went to the 3D, non-IMAX version and thank God for senior discounts! Seriously, I really liked the movie. It was grand seeing all of the original stars -- and the new group was very good. (I saw the original, Episode IV, when it first came out. I was working on a small circus and several of us went to see it on one of those rare nights when we didn't have a show and weren't moving to the next lot. We sat in the front row and had a rip-roaring good time.)

My older sister and brother-in-law serenaded me over the phone. SonnyeBoy called. My Facebook has been buzzing nonstop -- thanks everyone! Joe gave me this faboo card:

So I guess I'll still be getting Valentines, birthday greetings, bottles of wine.

Who could ask for more?
