When I went to see Mom yesterday, my niece and her two great kids were already there. During the visit, Brendan played some Christmas carols on his violin, and Brendan and Isabelle read poems to Mom. As we were visiting, I asked seven-year old Isabelle what she wanted for Christmas.
"A dog," she said.
My niece rolled her eyes. "I'm not so sure about that," she said. Then my niece told me the other big-ticket item on Isabelle's list:
A diamond? Isabelle grinned.
Like a diamond necklace, or some earrings?
No, just a diamond. Isabelle cupped her hands and said, "I just want to look at it."
Here from Holidailies? Hi! I'm Mary, also known as Bozoette. I've been doing this blogging thing since January 1, 2002, when I started an online weight-loss journal. Well, the weight came back, but the blogging stuck, and now I write about pretty much everything but weight loss.
Oh, and I used to be a circus clown, many long years ago. (Don't be scared, okay?)
