Silver Sea, Velvet Sand

I took this shot in broad daylight, with the sun shining on the water. I rather like the weird way it turned out.

We walked along the beach for a bit this weekend. It was cold, but not biting. We weren't alone. There were other folks, though not many; the seagulls and sandpipers outnumbered us. At one point, I was just gazing out into the distance, and Joe said, "Look at that smile. You smile all the time when you're on the beach."

Yeah, I guess I do.
