I Am the Queen of Spackle
Evidently I'm A Honda Accord

I, I, I

I found this meme over at Robyn's place, but as I was doing it I found that some of my answers magically turned into song lyrics. So here's a little contest, if you feel like a contest:

Find the Song Lyrics

For a pat on the head, tell me which ones are song lyrics, what song the lyric's from, and the singer. Bonus! Bonus! There are two other cultural references (for lack of a better term) -- spot them and you get two pats on the head.

I AM: a rock; I am an island.

I SAID: “Sure, let's walk to Starbucks!”

I WANT: you, I want you, I want you, so bad. Honey, I want you.

I WISH: upon a star.

I HATE: it when my neck is sticky with dried sweat.

I MISS: my dearly departed friends Tommy (gone for 12 years) and Brian (gone for 28 years).

I FEAR: that SonnyeBoy will be hurt on the Job. Or worse.

I HEAR: it through the grapevine. (Well, actually, I heard it through the grapevine, but close enough.)

I WONDER: where the yellow went.

I REGRET: some of the hurtful things I've said to people I love.

I AM NOT: a crook.

I DANCE: to the music. (I love to dance -- not that I'm good at it, but I do love doing it.)

I SING: in the shower (and once, at JournalCon 2006, I threw all caution and dignity to the wind and sang karaoke).

I AM NOT ALWAYS: attentive to detail.

I MADE: up for lost time today.

I WRITE: almost every day, in one way or another.

I CONFUSE: myself sometimes.

I NEED: to get a grip on my eating.

I SHOULD: exercise even more than I am now.

I START: my car every morning.

I FINISH: everything on my plate.

I BELIEVE: for every drop of rain that falls, a flower grows.

I KNOW: you wanna leave me, but I refuse to let you go.

I CAN: touch my toes.

I CAN’T: help myself; I love you and nobody else.

I SEE: trees of green, red roses too.

I BLOG: every couple of days. (Ah, "blog" has been verbed! Language evolves!)

I READ: at lunchtime.

I AM AROUSED BY: good kissing.

IT PISSES ME OFF: when people drive like idiots.

I FIND: things in the last place I look.

I LIKE: it, uh-huh, uh-huh.

I LOVE: you; this old heart, darling, is weak for you.
