Do Not Disturb?

Auto Bio Meme-O

I have a bit of a headache, my knee seems to be seizing up, and I'm craving a grilled cheese sandwich. Time for a meme -- first seen at LA's place, then Stephanie's, Bev's, and Jim's.

Part 1: The Birth of You

Were you a planned baby?  Not at all -- my mom had just converted to Catholicism. Hi! Pregnant! At 40!

Were you the first? No, I was number four.

Were your parents married when you were born? Yes; in fact, they had been married over 19 years.

What is your birthdate?  January 18, 1952.

Part 2: The Family

How would you describe your family?  My immediate family is small -- just Joe and SonnyeBoy, but it's really huge when I look outside that to mom, siblings, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces, and so on. Not to mention cousins...

Are your parents married? Not since death did them part -- Pop died in 1991. Before that, they were married for 57 years.

Siblings or an only child?  Two sisters and two brothers, but one brother died before I was born.

What are your siblings names?  Joanne (oldest), Johnny (died), Jerry, Anne (youngest).

Which parent do you get along with best?  I got along fine with both of them.

What do you fight about?  Whatever Mom feels like fighting about.

Part 6: The Past

Were you a strange child?  No, I was an annoyingly normal goody-two-shoes.

What did you use to love that you no longer do?  Camping -- because I no longer love it. There's that whole annoying bug thing. And you have to cook over a fire. My idea of roughing it now is no complimentary shampoo in the hotel bathroom.

Do you have the same friends?  I still get together with my high-school pals, but I have no idea where my "kid friends" are.

Was there anything in your past that was traumatizing?  Well, I was 20 when I was gang raped -- that was pretty traumatizing.
